Executive Function Skills

Hill’s Executive Function Skills class introduces students to proven strategies that support increased success with organization, following directions, notetaking, test prep, self-advocacy, goal setting and comprehending new information with purpose, practice, and multisensory techniques.

What to expect:

• As each strategy is introduced, students learn and practice the skill, creating a reference book of all the strategies and tips accumulated throughout sessions.
  
• This reference book can then serve as a resource for students in their independent work.
• During the final class session, parents are invited to join and listen as students share their reflections on what they have learned and how they plan to apply their new skills in daily life.
